47 Years ago, today… I was born. It was a Saturday, and from what I’ve been told…, I arrived just in time for Saturday Morning Cartoons!!! Ha ha ha a

What a way to start a birthday... I stayed up WAAAAYYYY to late to celebrate my B-day. Pat Ihli's B-day was the 14th and @ Midnite, it was officially mine. I slipped into bed around 12:30 a.m.,,, All These September B-days… Grand-dad;s b-day is the 17th… and if my math is correct he would have been 100 this year..

Then awoke to Mike saying... I'm going to work it's 6:00 a.m... You need to get movin;! so I rushed myself together! Mike left me the cutest card and a tiny windchime... It has the most amazing sound. also, on FB, lots of birthday wishes from my friends and family. I AM SOOOOO LUCKY1

On my way to UPIW, Becky Malloy called me and we'll celebrate our birthdays tomorrow nite @ her house, we're gonna grill shrimp & have a glass of wine. Should be very fun.

I did get the dip and salsa made for the potluck @ Shoreline today. Aurora (Birthday Buddy) is taking a "ME" day, and is spending her day @ home fishing in the Snake River. (she lives in Marsing)

My ugly bug-bite has nearly resolved. Its down to a small hard red bump. Big improvement from yesterday. Bobbi called & wished me Happy birthday. She just got back from the Grand Tetons and spending time in Jackson Hole WY. (One of the really gorgeous places in Wyoming!)

Potluck @ Shoreline was amazing. Rose gave me a pair of black & purple fake eyelashes for a present… toooo funnn!!! I also got a tele call from Auntie (Sister) Bobbi. That was a GREAT surprise! She was just getting back from her Trip to Wyoming (Jackson Hole) I really do have the best family ever!!!! We’ll celebrate all the Sept b-days probably on Fri nite…, that way no one has to get up early or go to work the next day. My boss, Gail, is gonna take me out for Bday lunch on Thursday. I guess I really have become the BIRTHDAY SLUT!!!

As I reflect on my life, I realize that I am turning the same age that Grandma A was, when I was born, and how much a sacrifice she made for me, to raise me and take such good care of me. I really am amazed at the sacrifices that she made for me, and for so many of us in the family, and how I have underestimated all that she gave! LOVE YOU GRAMMIE!!!
